²² ·What God has planned for the Son of Man will happen [^LFor the Son of Man is going (to his death) as it has been determined/decreed (by God)], but ·how terrible it will be for [^Lwoe to] that one who ·turns against [betrays] the Son of Man [^Ca title for the Messiah; Dan. 7:13–14].”

²³ Then the apostles ·asked [began to ask] each other which one of them would do that.
